Erik is a graduating senior at the Math/Science center at Clover Hill High School. He has been a member of Clover Hill’s swim team for all four years and has served as a team captain this last season.
He has been swimming competitively for Poseidon for the past 7 years, advancing to national level championships, and he also serves as a swim instructor at the Poseidon Swim School, and is passionate about teaching all age groups.
Erik will continue his academic and athletic career at Washington and Lee University, where he plans to major in engineering and swim competitively.
He looks forward to leveraging his swimming experience to help The Hammerheads grow stronger.
Aiden has been an active competitive swimmer for several years and currently swims year round for Quest. He served as a coach in training for the Hallsley High Tides in 2025 and is lifeguard certified.
As a former military child he has had the opportunity to be a part of eight different swim teams, including swimming for the Hammerheads in 2019 and 2022. These experiences help him connect with swimmers of all ages and ability levels.
Aiden is a rising senior at Midlothian High School where he is a member of the Midlothian High School swim team and the International Baccalaureate Program. He is excited to be returning to the Hammerheads as an Assistant Coach.
We’re excited to welcome back Julia Willing as an Assistant Coach for the Hammerheads this season!
Julia has been a part of the Hammerheads family since 2015. She currently swims year-round with Poseidon and has previous experience swimming with both the YMCA and SwimRVA. Julia also brings valuable experience with two years of swim lesson instruction and one year of coaching.
She is a rising senior in the Midlothian High School International Baccalaureate Program and serves as a captain of the Midlothian High School swim team. This marks her second year as an Assistant Coach, and she also works as a swim lessons instructor at the Manchester YMCA.

We’re excited to welcome back Ava Antiporda as an Assistant Coach for the Hammerheads this season!
With a strong background in competitive swimming, Ava previously swam with the Stealth Swim Team in Gainesville, VA, and have been a dedicated member of the Hampton Park Swim Team since 2021.
She began junior coaching in 2022 and brings valuable experience and enthusiasm to the team. In addition, Ava has completed for three seasons on the Cosby High School Swim Team and worked as a lifeguard at both the Celebration and Festival pools.
Her passion for swimming and commitment to our team makes Ava a fantastic role model for our swimmers; we’re so glad to have her back this season!
