How Do I Know if My Swimmer Has Qualified?

There are two easy ways to check:

To check in the SwimTopia app:

  1. Open the app and select Past Events.
  2. Choose any previous meet.
  3. View your swimmer's results.
  4. If you see "Qual," "Silver," or "Gold" next to an event, your swimmer has qualified for that event at Champs.

Important Championship Rules

  • All championship entries are at the discretion of the coaching staff (if qualified for multiple events)
  • Swimmers who have not qualified for an individual event may still be selected by the coaches to swim on a relay
  • Swimmers must have competed in at least two league meets during the regular season to be eligible for the championship meet.
  • Each swimmer may compete in a maximum of five championship events, including relays. Examples include:
    • 4 individual events and 0 relays
    • 4 individual events and 1 relay
    • 3 individual events and 2 relays

Championship Volunteers Needed

We will also need parent volunteers to help at the Championship Meet. I am still waiting to receive the final information regarding worker positions but I will post as soon as I receive them.

Please note: Championship volunteer positions do not count toward your regular season volunteer point totals. Each team is responsible for filling a certain number and certain roles which is assigned by CAL. Just like regular season meets, CHAMPS are parent worker driven.

Position Needs for Tuesday's Meet vs. Woodland Pond

We are still looking for volunteers to fill the following positions:

  • 2 Second Half Clerk of Course
  • 1 First Half Timer
  • 2 First Half Stroke & Turn Judges

If you are available to help, please sign up in SwimTopia as soon as possible. Thank you for supporting our swimmers and helping make our meets successful!

Go Hammerheads!
